Abstract
In the present work the toxicity of Solfac which contains 10% cyfluthr in as an active ingredient and RB-b which is a crude neem extact of ri pe berries of neem were determined against rice weevil Sitophilus oryz ae. The LD50 was found to be o.565 mug/cm2 for Solfac and 16.34 mug/cm 2 for RB-b after 24 hours of treatment. The RB-b was applied as a form ulation containing a synergist, piperonyl butoxide.
