The efficacy of Foeniculum vulgare seed oil was studied against growth
of Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. psidii causing guava wilt at 200,400,600
and 800 mug/ml concentrations using poisoned food technique. The grow
th of the test pathogen was gradually inhibited as the concentrations
of oil increased. Complete inhibition of the growth was recorded at 60
0 and 800 mug/ml concentrations, while at 200 and 400 mug/ml concentra
tions the growth was inhibited by 32.2% and 66.1% respectively.
