Abstract
The unitary transformation that relates free polarization and photon s tates to polariton states is constructed. The time evolution of an arb itrary initial state in terms of the polariton Hamiltonian is presente d. The many-photon components of polariton states as well as the trans ition probabilities to polariton states and the intrinsec and time-dep endent polariton squeezing are discussed.
