R. Sanderman et Av. Ranchor, STABILITY OF PERSONALITY-TRAITS AND PSYCHOLOGICAL DISTRESS OVER 6 YEARS, Perceptual and motor skills, 78(1), 1994, pp. 89-90
Personality traits were quite stable over 6 yr. among 225 subjects fro
m a community sample, whereas psychological distress of initial testin
g could hardly explain scores 6 yr. later. Findings support the trait-
state distinction of the measures under study, the Eysenck Personality
Questionnaire and the General Health Questionnaire-30.
