Abstract
Ethyl-2-bromo-2-(2'-oxo-3'-quinoxalinyl) acetates 3-4 react with potas sium thiocyanate in dimethylformamide, at room temperature, afforded 1 0-ethoxycarbonyl-2-imino-9-oxo thiazolo [3,4-a] quinoxalines 7-8.
