Abstract
The extension of necrotizing pancreatitis into the scrotum occurs rare ly. We report a scrotal manifestation of this condition posing signifi cant diagnostic problems. This case report demonstrates that in patien ts with an open processus vaginalis the acute necrotizing pancreatitis can lead to the so-called ''scrotal syndrom''.
