Abstract
The hybrids between Saccharomyces cerevisiae sensu Naumov et al. 1983, S. bayanus sensu Vaughan Martini et Kurtzman 1985, S. paradoxus sensu Naumov 1986 tester strains and greatly abundant Saccharomyces genetic lines were analyzed. The latters were showed to classify as Saccharom yces cerevisiae species. The intraspecific hybrids are fertile and giv e normal meiotic segregations of control markers, the interspecific hy brids are characterized by sterility through the unviability of ascosp orous posterity.
