Using the Cassinian ovaloid as fission shape both in symmetry and asym
metry, including Yukawa-plus-exponential finite range interaction and
diffused surface, the rotating finite-range Casinian ovaloid liquid dr
op model is developed. The dependence of the fission barrier heights o
n mass-asymmetry and on angular momentum is studied for the compound n
uclei In-112, Tb-159 and Bi-209. The predicted asymmetric fission barr
iers and mass yields are compared with experimental data obtained from
the deexcitation of hot composite nuclei by complex fragment emission
