Vh. Tran et al., AC-MAGNETIC SUSCEPTIBILITY STUDY OF U(2)T(2)M (T=NI,RH,PD,IR AND PT,M=IN OR SN), Solid state communications, 101(9), 1997, pp. 709-713
The experimental results of a.c.-magnetic susceptibility, chi(ac), are
reported for U(2)T(2)M compounds, where T denotes Ni, Rh, Pd, Ir and
Pt and M represents In or Sn. Antiferromagnetic ordering is observed i
n: U2Ni2In (T-N=14.8 K), U2Ni2Sn (26.0 K), U2Rh2Sn (24.0 K), U2Pd2In (
35.5 K), U2Pd2Sn (41.4 K) and U2Pt2Sn (15.8K). The chi(ac)-values of U
2Rh2In at low temperatures are enhanced. The development of magnetism
in U(2)T(2)M compounds is shown to be related to the strength of f-d h
ybridization. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd.
