Abstract
The analysis of the specimens of Hydrocorine deposited in the collecti ons of the Zoological Institute as well as the study of literature rai ses a question about the fact, that the hydroids found by R. Ya. Margu lis and A. G. Karlsen (1980) in the Sea of Japan are H. bodegensis. H miurensis is assumed to be the only species of the genus inhabiting th e Sea of Japan.
