T. Kesavan et al., SENSITIVITY OF YIELD AND INPUT DEMAND ELASTICITIES FOR WETLAND RICE IN JAVA, Bulletin of Indonesian economic studies, 29(3), 1993, pp. 111-126
This study uses pooled time series data for wetland rice in java to an
alyse the sensitivity of yield and input demand elasticities to differ
ences in the specification of farmers' expectations, in alternative da
ta sources and in the functional forms used in the estimation. The res
ults show that yield and fertiliser input elasticities are less fragil
e than those of labour demand, which are quite sensitive to data and m
odel specifications.
