Abstract
A number of solvents with different polarities and mixtures of differe nt solvents and water have been used in the hydroxylation of phenol wi th H2O2 over TS-1. The conversion and product distribution are shown t o be dependent on the solvent or solvent mixture used, The influence o f temperature on the reaction has been studied in different solvents.
