Abstract
A method has been developed for radiochemical separation of barium fro m other elements using cerium(IV) molybdate as an ion exchanger by bat ch process. Optimum contact time and pH have been found to be 7.0 min. and 7.0 respectively. Adsorption is maximum (96%) with 150 mg of the exchanger.
