Jh. Wang et Rh. He, A STOPPED-FLOW INDUCTIVE KINETIC SPECTROP HOTOMETRIC METHOD FOR SIMULTANEOUS DETERMINATION OF IRON AND ANTIMONY, Huaxue xuebao, 52(1), 1994, pp. 71-75
A stopped-flow inductive kinetic spectrophotometric method for the sim
ultaneous determination of iron and antimony was proposed. The princip
le of determination was discussed, and a procedure for simultaneous de
termination of Fe(II) and Sb (III) was established based on the induct
ive effect of them on the chromium(VI)-iodide redox reaction. The cali
bration graphs were linear for 0 approximately 1.2mug.mL-1 Fe(II) and
0 approximately 2.0mug.mL-1 Sb(III) respectively, and the detection li
mits were 0.012mug.mL-1 Fe(II) and 0.014mug.mL-1 Sb (III). The method
was used for the determination of iron and antimony in zinc metal stan
dard and a simulated sample, and the results are satisfactory.
