Abstract
Internal conversion coefficients have been determined from on-line mea surement of electron- and gamma-ray emission related to the dipole tra nsitions in the so-called oblate collective bands in Pb-199. The resul ts strongly support the M1 (or M1+E2) character of these transitions.
