Abstract
I briefly review some recent work on the flavour dependence of supersy mmetrice theories. Attempts to solve the flavour puzzle based on horiz ontal - or vertical - symmetries predict flavour structures in the sup ersymmetric sector that could serve to constrain and even to test such theories in present and future experiments.
