Abstract
The renormalization of supersymmetric gauge theories requires solution of either the problem of handling canonical fields of vanishing dimen sions or the problem of non-linear symmetry transformations. Since the supersymmetric extension of the standard model has become a realistic option the use of the respective supersymmetry Ward identity represen ts a relevant issue in phenomenology.
