Abstract
A single treatment with GPS increased protein kinase C (PKC) activity in the particulate fraction of hypothalamic slices without affecting c ytosolic PKC. By contrast, a 30-day treatment with 100 mg/kg/die GPS d id not modify PKC activity in young animals while partially restoring the reduced cytosolic PKC activity observed in aged rats.
