Abstract
The properties of the two-dimensional Hubbard model with strong repuls ion are studied under the condition that the Fermi surface passes thro ugh van Hove singularities. The upper critical field is calculated und er conditions where there is no relaxation. (C) 1997 American Institut e of Physics.
