Abstract
Extrapulmonary small-cell carcinoma is uncommon. We report a rare case of small-cell carcinoma located in the mediastinum. The patient is st ill alive 6 years after combined local resection and chemotherapy. Thi s seems to be the first reported case with such long survival.
