T. Sassa et al., IDENTIFICATION OF GIBBERELLINS A(4), A(9), AND A(24), FROM PHAEOSPHAERIA SP L487 CULTURED IN A CHEMICALLY-DEFINED MEDIUM, Bioscience, biotechnology, and biochemistry, 58(2), 1994, pp. 438-439
Gibberellins As-4 Ag-9 and A(24) were isolated and identified from the
new gibberellin-producing fungus, Phaeosphaeria sp. L487 (Loculoascom
ycetes), cultivated in a chemically defined medium; their yields from
the culture filtrate were ca. 1.7, 0.3, and 0.4 mu g/ml, respectively.
Gibberellins A(4) and A(9) significantly stimulated the hypocotyl gro
wth of Chinese cabbage seedlings at a very low concentration of less t
han 0.01 mu g/ml.
