G. Turilli, MEASUREMENT OF THE MAGNETIC-ANISOTROPY FIELD BY PERFORMING THE 2ND DERIVATIVE OF THE MAGNETIZATION CURVE IN A CONTINUOUS FIELD, Journal of magnetism and magnetic materials, 130(1-3), 1994, pp. 377-383
The anisotropy measurement technique based on the second derivative of
the magnetization curve is critically analyzed, underlining the utili
ty, the precision and the reliability of the technique. This measureme
nt is traditionally performed utilizing a pulsed magnetic field. A new
method to perform the same kind of measurement in a static field is p
roposed theoretically analyzed and experimentally verified. The scheme
of the realized apparatus and the preliminary experimental results ar
e presented and discussed.
