Abstract
A 13 cm radio continuum image of the 30 Doradus region has been made w ith 7.5'' resolution using the Australia Telescope. It has been compar ed with a calibrated optical CCD image obtained at Cerro Tololo. The t wo images are virtually identical, indicating little variation in exti nction across the nebula. The mean value of the extinction at H(alpha) is 1.1 mag. The detailed radio image confirms that N157B is a Crab-li ke (nonshell) SNR with an extent of about 90'' X 70''.
