On the basis of the geological characteristics of primary gold deposit
s, with an experiment on modelling the environment of gold mineralizat
ion, the evolutionary array and growth mechanism and their relationshi
p with gold mineralization of the crystal forms of pyrite, i.e. pentag
onal dodecahedron, octahedron and cube, formed under the different val
ues of fo(2), fs(2), T (degrees C), P(Pa) and C (salinity) in the hydr
othermal system are studied. The results show that the crystal form of
pyrite is not only related to the temperature L, but also affected by
the geochemistry of iron and sulfur which formed pyrite and other phy
sicochemical conditions. Our results promote the study of gold mineral
ization, genetic and prospecting mineralogy.z
