Abstract
Perthes' disease was seen in two boys, aged 6 1/2, with the Russell-Si lver Syndrome. Both presented with groin or thigh pain in their shorte ned side together with a progressive limp. They were treated conservat ively, and when reviewed 6 1/2 years after diagnosis the lesions of th e hip had improved clinically and radiographically. The leg length dis crepancy did not increase.
