The super-simulator is a conceptual name for future innovative simulat ors of nuclear power plants which surpass, to a large extent, the capa bilities and performances of existing nuclear power plant simulators f or operator training, plant analyzers for engineering studies or compu ter codes for dynamics analysis. Such super-simulators will be realize d by employing highly advanced methods of mathematical modeling of the physical chemical and other related processes in the nuclear power pl ants and innovative methods of numerical computation using rapidly evo lving high performance computing systems.
