EXOTIC HARDRONS

In this review, the present status of the physics of exotic hadrons (m esons and baryons) is considered. It is shown that, during the last de cade, several new meson states were observed, whose properties can har dly be explained in terms of the simple quark model. These particles h ave become serious candidates for exotic hadrons. The search for narro w, heavy baryons in different production and formation reactions is al so discussed.
