Abstract
A mixed metal tetranuclear complex with two Mo-VI(mu-SMe)(3)Rh-III gro ups, [{Cp Rh(mu-SMe)(3)Mo(O)(2)}(2)(mu-O)] has been obtained from the reaction of the triple-cubane type oxide cluster [(CpRh)(4)Mo4O16] w ith MeSH. The complex has been characterized by X-ray analysis and var iable-temperature H-1 NMR spectroscopy. The latter has revealed that t he complex exists as a mixture of isomers which show interconversion d ue to the inversion at the pyramidal sulfur center.
