Abstract
Capitate nonunion is an uncommon cause of occult wrist pain. History o f wrist injury, tenderness in the distal carpal row, capitate-view x-r ays, and special radiographic studies such as bone scan, CT scan, or m agnetic resonance imaging can confirm the diagnosis.
