Abstract
The shifts of the absorption electronic (1 Lb) and fluorescence bands, for the solutions in polar and nonpolar solvents of some 2-hydroxyace tophenone derivatives have been investigated. The changes of frequency maxima of the fluorescence and absorption electronic bands with the s ignal in NMR spectra for the Ha proton were correlated.
