M. Saarinen et al., HIGH-RESOLUTION PHOTOACOUSTIC OVERTONE SPECTRUM OF MONOCHLOROACETYLENE USING A TITANIUM-SAPPHIRE RING LASER SPECTROMETER, Chemical physics letters, 219(3-4), 1994, pp. 181-186
The photoacoustic overtone spectrum of monochloroacetylene (monochloro
ethyne, HCCCl) has been recorded in the wave-number region 9500-14400
cm-1 with a titanium: sapphire ring laser. The spectrum shows several
vibration-rotation band systems of which 3nu1 + nu2 and 4nu1 have been
recorded with Doppler-limited resolution. Many overtone and hot bands
belonging to Cl-35 and Cl-37 species have been analyzed rotationally.
Some of the observed bands show rotational perturbations. Two of thes
e bands have successfully been interpreted as a Fermi resonance pair.
