Abstract
Predissociation of the (v' = 13) B 3PI0u+ electronic state of Br-79(2) , Br-82(2), and (BrBr)-Br-79-Br-81 was studied by measuring the lifeti mes of individual hyperfine levels. The first observation of hyperfine electric quadrupole predissociation is reported. Revised values have been obtained for the radiative decay rate, and for the parameters ass ociated with gyroscopic and magnetic dipole predissociation. Determina tions have been made of the electric quadrupole predissociation consta nts.
