Abstract
The active phase surface of a series of gamma-Al2O3-supported vanadium oxide catalysts has been determined by a kinetic method. A correlatio n is found between the size of the active surface and the catalytic ac tivity of the samples during No reduction with NH3. The results from t he differential determination of the active phase surface can be used for predicting the catalytic activity of the catalysts investigated.
