Ma. Bernstein et La. Trimble, HIGH-RESOLUTION NMR EXPERIMENTS WHICH USE FREQUENCY-SELECTIVE RF PULSES IN COMBINATION WITH MAGNETIC-FIELD GRADIENTS, Magnetic resonance in chemistry, 32(2), 1994, pp. 107-110
Magnetic field gradients were incorporated into the selective COSY exp
eriment. The new gradient-selected experiment has the expected advanta
ges of significantly improved spectral quality resulting from better a
rtifact suppression and the capacity to acquire spectra using fewer sc
ans. A sample of brucine was used to evaluate the experiment and the r
esulting spectra were of excellent quality. These experiments may be i
mplemented on commercial instrumentation.
