Abstract
The enhancement of frequency mixing and phase-modulation due to cascad ed second-order effects is studied in the organic MBA-NP crystal. In a 3 mm-thick sample, we observe a 10(4) increase of the frequency mixin g yield, which implies an effective 'third-order' susceptibility of 10 (-19) m2/V2.
