Abstract
The effects of potassium deficiency on the growth and the polyamine le vels of suspension-cultured rice cells were investigated. Our results indicate that putrescine accumulation is a factor, among others, causi ng growth inhibition of suspension-cultured rice cells under potassium deficiency.
