Abstract
The development and morphology of the Ephelis state of Balansia epichl oe (Weese) Diehl on the adaxial surface of leaves of Eragrostis capill aris (L.) Nees are described. Differences between the conidiomata of t his and those of some other Balansia anamorphs are noted. A formal tax onomic description is presented.
