Abstract
Various processes employed in the regeneration of used lube oils have been reviewed and their usefulness and applications have been projecte d. The acid refining process along with clay treatment has been found to be one of the most suitable processes for the production of regener ated oils suitable for Indian conditions and also has the additional a dvantage that they do not have any adverse effects on environment.
