We show that the differential form of the fundamental completeness rel
ation in quantum mechanics and the technique of differentiation within
an ordered product (DWOP) of operators provide a new approach for cal
culating normal product expansions of some nonlinear operators and stu
dy some nonlinear transformations. Their usefulness in perturbative ca
lculations is pointed out.
