Abstract
Most surgeons adopt the Joel-Cohen method for opening the abdomen once they have become familiar with it. We present here, for the first tim e, a study comparing the post-operative outcome between the Joel-Cohen and the Pfannenstiel methods for opening the abdomen in cesarean sect ion.
