K. Sasaki et al., COMPLETE ASSIGNMENT OF THE H-1-NMR AND C-13-NMR SPECTRA OF [1]BENZOTHIENO[2,3-C]NAPHTHO[1,2-H]QUINOLINE AND ,3-C]NAPHTHO[1,2-H][1,2,4]TRIAZOLO[4,3-A]QUINOLINE - CONCERTED USE OF 2-DIMENSIONAL NMR TECHNIQUES, Journal of heterocyclic chemistry, 31(1), 1994, pp. 65-71
The H-1- and C-13-nmr spectra of [I]benzothieno[2,3-c]naphtho[1,2-h]qu
inoline and 3-c]-naphtho[1,2-h][1,2,4]triazolo[4,3-a]quinoline were to
tally assigned using a combination of two-dimensional nmr techniques.
After correlation of the proton signals by a COSY spectrum and one-bon
d heteronuclear correlation, complete assignment of the H-1- and C-13-
nmr spectra of the novel heterocyclic compounds required the applicati
on of long-range CH coupling information particularly for quarternary
resonance assignment and the orientations of individual spin systems r
elative to one another.
