MISCIBILITY, CRYSTALLIZATION AND MELTING BEHAVIOR, Polymer, 35(5), 1994, pp. 1051-1058
The phase behaviour of ternary polymer blends consisting of poly(epsil
on-caprolactone) (PCL), poly(hydroxy ether of bisphenol A) (Phenoxy) a
nd poly(styrene-co-acrylonitrile) with an acrylonitrile content of 15
wt% (SAN15) was examined by means of visual observations, light transm
ission measurements, differential scanning calorimetry (d.s.c.) and dy
namic mechanical thermal analysis (d.m.t.a.). The influence of the ble
nd composition, the crystallization temperature, the crystallization t
ime and the d.s.c. scanning rate on the crystallization and the meltin
g behaviour of the blends was investigated.
