Abstract
The rplJL operon encodes the L10 and L7/L12 proteins, essential for ri bosomal function and protein synthesis. In this study, we report the n ucleotide sequence of the rplJ and rplL genes from Brucella abortus. T he deduced amino-acid sequences show 37 and 67% identity to Escherichi a coli L10 and L7/L12, respectively.
