Abstract
A reinvestigation of the aliphatic nitro compounds present in fruit of the karaka tree, Corynocarpus laevigatus, resulted in the identificat ion of a further six esters of 3-nitropropanoic acid and glucopyranose , of which two do not appear to have been described before; H-1 and C- 13 NMR data are reported for these compounds.
