Abstract
The contoured anterior spinal plate (CASP) was developed for secure fi xation of the anterior thoracolumbar spine. This is a report of 38 pat ients with various spinal pathologies treated with this system. The re sults were excellent regarding plate fixation and fusion, Comments on surgical technique and indications are provided.
