Abstract
A case of cutaneous cryptococcosis (encapsulated strain) in a 67-year- old female, with no evidence of immune suppression (normal cell surfac e marker analysis and mitogen proliferation studies) and which respond ed to treatment with oral fluconazole is reported. To date her clinica l progress remains satisfactory after 12 months of follow-up.
