Abstract
In this paper, we show a method of obtaining general and orthogonal mo ments, specifically Legendre and Zernicke moments, from the Radon Tran sform data of a two-dimensional function. The regular or geometric mom ents are first evaluated directly from the projection data and the ort hogonal moments are derived from these regular moments.
