Abstract
Decreased heart rate variability, assessed 2 weeks after uncomplicated acute myocardial infarction, is related to the extent of I-123-metaio dobenzylguanidine-derived efferent sympathetic cardiac denervation. Th is postinfarction cardiac denervation could be the substrate of reduce d postinfarction heart rate variability.
