Abstract
Phloeodictines A1-A7 (3a, 3b, 4a, 4b, 4c, 5a, 5b) and phloeodictines C 1-C2 (6a, 6b), new antibacterial and cytotoxic guanidine alkaloids, ha ve been isolated from the sponge Phloeodictyon sp. Their structures we re established essentially by mass spectrometry utilizing B/E linked s canning and by 2D NMR experiments
