SELF-CONCEPT IN CONTEMPORARY COGNITIVE AN D SOCIAL-PSYCHOLOGY

In the study, the authors present a survey on the state of knowledge a bout self-concept in the contemporary cognitive and social psychology. When analysing theoretically the above-mentioned problem they are mai nly concerned with the content and structure of the self-concept. Apar t from the definition of self-concept and explanation of its cognitive and affective aspects, they also introduce the conceptualization of ' 'I'' as of the subject of the activity.
